A beautiful Spanish city rich with culture, tradition and orange trees that adorn the streets

Why Seville?

Seville (Spanish: Sevilla) is the capital of its region, Andalucia, and the cultural and financial centre of southern Spain. A city of just over 700,000 inhabitants (1.6 million in the metropolitan area, making it Spain's 4th largest city), Seville is Andalucia's top destination, with much to offer during 3 months of work experience.

This is the birthplace of Flamenco and the city where the most amazing Easter processions take place. Its rich history has left the city stuffed with innumerable monuments like the awesome cathedral, the third-largest in the world, the Giralda tower, the wonderful palace of the Reales Alcázares and the magical Barrio of Santa Cruz with its narrow streets.

Accommodation

Our Turing students in Seville live in the Macarena; an area just north of the largest remaining section of the old city walls.  This lively part of the city has everything you could need in it and is only a 15-minute walk from the very centre.

Each participant will have their own private bedroom in a 3-bed flat (shared kitchen, bathroom and living space) all located in the residential area of La Macarena so will be living a short distance to the the other participants on the programme.
